Taiwanese Political Science Review (TPSR) is the scholarly journal published by the Taiwanese Political Science Association (TPSA) in June and December respectively every year. TPSR is indexed in TSSCI. Manuscripts are reviewed immediately upon receipt.
We welcome original research articles in any sub-fields of political science (such as comparative politics, international relations, public administration, political philosophy, methodology, etc.).
TPSR publishes articles in both Chinese and English. The regular Chinese articles are up to 20,000 words. Other types of work are limited to 10,000 words. English articles are up to 9,000 words.
TPSR does not accept manuscripts that have been published in any form or under consideration elsewhere.
Articles submitted to TPSR should include authors' full contact details, an abstract of 500 words in both Chinese and English, and five Chinese and English keywords. Authors shall submit the manuscripts in both word and pdf files as attachments via E-mail.
Articles submitted to TPSR will be reviewed first by the editorial board and then by two (or more) scholars from the relevant field anonymously. The process requires about eight weeks. In general, the authors are expected to resubmit their revised manuscripts within six months.
Upon acceptance for publication, the author shall revise the article according to the format of TPSR and submit the final text in Microsoft Word format.
TPSR does not offer remuneration. Authors will receive and two copies of the issue in which their articles appear.
