- TPSR does not accept manuscripts that have already been published or are currently under review by another academic journal. Manuscripts submitted to TPSR must not be submitted to another publication during the review process. Authors are responsible for informing TPSR whether the manuscript has previously been presented in any form, including as a conference paper. TPSR reserves the right to decline a submission if there are concerns regarding prior publication.
- Each submission must be accompanied by a completed Taiwanese Political Science Review Publication Ethics Declaration and Checklist, signed by the corresponding author. The form may be completed and signed directly in the PDF file. Alternatively, it may be printed, completed, signed, and scanned as a PDF. The completed form must be submitted together with the manuscript.

The review process normally takes approximately two months. In general, authors are expected to resubmit their revised manuscripts within three months. Once the manuscript has passed review by two external reviewers, it will be submitted to the Editorial Board for final review. The manuscript will be formally accepted upon approval by the Editorial Board.
